Voices of Youth
Voices of Youth (VOY) is UNICEF's social network to promote active participation of children and adolescents across the world by sharing their views and opinions on current international affairs and pressing social issues. It also allows them to take action on global issues that are important to them. The website has resources, articles and ways to share and contribute to the discussion.
The website enables to:
• Create a profile, or login with an existing service such as Twitter, Facebook, Orkut or Google.
• Check out the topics, including featured topics relating to the 2011 State of the World's Children report.
• Comment on and discuss posts of interest.
• Add a post to VOY about anything related to VOY. They can be personal reflections, links to articles, pictures videos etc.
VoY contains plenty of resouces, including sotries from children/adolescents and toolkits for young activists. At the moment available in English, Spanish and French, the website will be soon available also in Arabic and Swahili.
